Gasoline

Gas Buddy is probably the first app I ever had used on a smart phone aside from ones previously installed.

I currently have: Sam's Club, Sheetz, Shell, Speedway, and Upside apps on my phone to get the best gas price. 

My Sam's Club credit card ALWAYS gives me 5% cash back on gas, and prices at Sam's Club are usually 30 cents less  a gallon than normal gas stations. 

Unfortunately, Sam's Club isn't convenient all the time to get gas. 

Sheetz are becoming more common. When they came to my area, they had DEALS. I mean saving 30 cents less a gallon for 3 months. Then I had 30 off a gallon for nine months after some weird 3 fill ups promotion. I had another random 30 cents off a gallon for the month of June through July 15th.

Shell stations are everywhere. I have fuel rewards account which gets you an instant 30 cent a gallon discount. I always get 5 cents off a gallon, but they do have random discount offers like RACE DAY, which is 22 cents off for every Sunday their driver races or they'll email you offers. They are usually in the Upside App, so it's easy to get 12 cents back a gallon though Upside.

Speedway has a loyalty card program and is in Upside, too.

Upside is not just about gasoline. They have restaurant and grocery store offerings as well. If you like Wendy's, Little Caesar's, Marco's Pizza, or Five Guys, you can get 25% back up to $8 easily.
